Steve Kooren, who serves as the company's senior vice president of finance, joined the company's executive leadership team in January 2021. He is responsible for leading and providing strategic direction to all subsidiary finance teams.

Steve joined Schwan's in 2018, bringing more than 25 years of experience leading teams, departments, functions and organizations within the financial service, insurance and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining Schwan's, Steve worked at UnitedHealth Group for 20 years in multiple finance and operations roles. Earlier, he served in the United States Army, followed by roles within accounting, audit and controller positions.

He earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Dickinson State University.
