Stacey Fowler Meittunen is the executive vice president of research and development for Schwan's Company. She has responsibility for research and development, food safety and quality, technology development, product innovation strategy and cross-business growth platforms.
Stacey has 20 years of experience in the food industry with an emphasis and passion for new products and portfolio value creation. She began her career with a subsidiary of Schwan's Company as a food technologist supporting frozen desserts. She has held positions in both research and development and marketing, advancing to vice president of innovation for Schwan's Europe, Ltd., where she managed R&D and quality assurance. Prior to returning to the company in October 2010, Stacey served as the senior executive vice president and general manager at Bellisio Foods, where she had responsibility for food-service sales, marketing and operations, corporate research and development, and quality assurance.
Stacey earned her bachelor's degree in food science from North Dakota State University and a master's degree in business administration from The Carlson School of Management.
